Registration is now open for the SHS X Singapore HeritageFest 2026 - Brani by Boat: Stories and Flavours of the Sea event!
Join us for an evening of intimate interactions with former Pulau Brani islanders and a showcase of their gastronomic traditions! Highlights from this curated evening event include:
- Embark on a guided sea tour of the waters close to Sentosa and Pulau Brani, where you will learn more about the various maritime landmarks that were once located on Pulau Brani and traditional lifestyles of the inhabitants.
- Enjoy a short documentary screening, followed by an intimate storytelling session with descendants of the former Pulau Brani community, where they will share with you their island memories.
- We end the evening with a curated dinner, where you will savour traditional Pulau Brani dishes crafted from recipes by former islanders.
This event blends food, stories, and sea, offering a rich celebration of Pulau Brani’s living heritage.

Things to Take Note Before Registration
Cancellations & Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your ticket cannot be exchanged or transferred. Should the organiser need to cancel the event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund. The organiser reserves the right to adjust the itinerary where necessary.
Dietary Restrictions
The dishes to be served for dinner contain shellfish, nuts and gluten. Please inform us if you have any allergies to the ingredients listed.
Accessibility to Event Location
The activities for the event will be held on a docked large house boat and a smaller touring vessel. Guests will be required to embark and disembark from a boat onto the pier. We are unfortunately unable to offer alternative arrangements for guests with mobility or accessibility needs.
Dress Code
Please dress comfortably for the event. Flat-sole footwear is strongly encouraged given the boat boarding requirements. The small boat tour is also held outdoors, so casual dress is also recommended for your enjoyment in the evening sea breeze.
Weather
In case of bad weather, the boat tour on the smaller touring vessel may be cancelled for the safety of all guests. The full event will instead be held entirely on the large house boat.
Photography & Media
The organiser may photograph or film the event for documentation and publicity purposes. By registering, guests consent to the use of such images or footage by the Singapore Heritage Society for non-commercial heritage and educational purposes.
